At Seneca Family of Agencies, our mission is to help children and families through the most difficult times of their lives. Throughout the 1990s and into the 21st century, Seneca has dedicated itself to becoming a “system of care” agency providing a comprehensive continuum of community-based and family-focused treatment services for children and families. Seneca’s continuum of care now includes in-home wraparound services; foster family-based treatment; mobile crisis response services; integrated day treatment and special education services; after-school therapeutic recreation services; and public school-based mental health services. Seneca has employment and practicum opportunities in Northern California, Southern California, and the
Central Coast of California.
Seneca offers a wide variety of fieldwork placements including: public or non-public school based programs, community based programs, wraparound programs, probation services, and crisis response programs, outpatient mental health clinics, foster care and adoption programs; all dedicated to serving children and their families throughout California. Programs in the bay area are based within the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma.
