East Bay Regional Center Presentation
I am happy to announce that we will have a information oriented presentation facilitated by the East Bay Regional Center here at BHCS main offices in the Alameda Room on Aug 7th, 9:00am-12:00pm. The presentation will be facilitated by Lisa Klienbalb, Intake Coordinator who has extensive experience and knowledge in regard to the intake referral process for clients who have a diagnostic presentation that meets the Regional Center criteria, i.e., Mental Retardation, and Developmental Disabilities. Over the years, many of you have had questions about Regional Center rules, and regulations, especially as applied to the intake and referral process, this will be a great time to seek out more knowledge here. Part of my role here at BHCS includes acting as the liaison with the Regional Center, Over the years I have seen a need to have this type of presentation for some time, and I am excited that we will finally be able to come together. We expect there will be ample time for questions, but please feel free to e-mail me ahead of time if you have any specific questions or topics you are interested in, and I will pass them on to Ms. Klienbalb.
